Regis Library Unveils Its Advent Book Calendar
Regis librarian Ms. Clair Quaintance today began opening the second annual Advent book calendar featuring recommendations by faculty and staff. One recommendation will be revealed for every day until Christmas and displayed at the library's front desk.
The first book to be unveiled was Mere Christianity by C.S. Lewis, as recommended by English teacher Ms. Teresa Moriarty.
"The holiday season is meant to be warm and full of love, and there is nothing that says those things better than reading a book," said Ms. Quaintance. "These recommendations are an easy way for students to have better insight into their teachers’ interests, while also getting to read a book!"
